There is no better place to gain experience at sea than under the clear skies and calm waters of Mallorca. We offer a full range of motor cruising courses through our Royal Yachting Association (RYA) certified training centre.
Each course is designed to be hands-on, approachable and practical, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced boater looking to sharpen your skills.
International Certificate of Competence (ICC)
Duration 3/4 days
A practical introduction to boating fundamentals including navigation, safety, manoeuvring, right of way rules and basic passage planning.
Ideal for new owners or those looking to build confidence at the helm.
Rya Day Skipper Practical (Non-Tidal)
Duration 5 days / 3 weekends
A practical course designed for those ready to take command of a yacht. Covers navigation, docking, boat handling and key skipper techniques.
Perfect for boaters seeking independence on coastal waters.
Rya Coastal Skipper Practical (Non-Tidal)
Duration 5 days
Designed for more experienced skippers ready to take on longer coastal passages, including night navigation. The course focuses on advanced boat handling, passage planning, and managing a crew in a range of real-world conditions.
Ideal for those preparing for the Yachtmaster exam or looking to cruise more confidently along varied coastlines.
Yachtmaster

Pre-requisite: Minimum of 2,500 logged sea miles
The highest level of RYA recognition for motor yacht skippers.
Designed for experienced navigators seeking to refine their seamanship, leadership and decision-making skills in both coastal and offshore conditions.
